DevOps Engineer

Job Description Devops Engineer
6 months with potential extensions
Hybrid working- 1 or 2 days on site per week in Edinburgh
££- Via Umbrella
With one of Lorien's top banking clients
To work on the dataservices legacy migration remediation programme
Aim to modernise the database/storage platforms
Working alongside Oracle ACS (advanced support engineers)
Different data services e.g. Oracle (biggest) and SQL
To supplement migration team
Conduct experiments: Liquibase and Flybase (know how to start something from concept right through to execution on application side)
Working knowledge of DevOps automation and tools like GitLab, TeamCity, Terraform, IaC, and Python
Knowledge of the core principles and benefits of DevOps, and knowledge and experience of software engineering and or IT Operations
Experience of working within a governed or regulated change framework
