A large national FM and maintenance company is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Westminster. This is a fantastic role for the right person to join an established maintenance team working Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM in a Static shift.

Job Purpose:
In your new role as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of my client's office electrical systems. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to perform scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks, helping to create a secure and comfortable environment for our staff.

Job role:
  • Carrying out pre planned and reactive maintenance
  • Operating BMS systems
  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on Electrical/Mechanical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency backup systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems etc.

Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment (Commercial Buildings)

We are looking for individuals with:
Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working. Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment. Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working. Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights. Good verbal and written communication is important, including the ability to use a mobile device. You'll need to be highly self-motivated and solutions focused with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.

Troubleshoot and diagnose Electrical/Mechanical equipment and system issues, implementing effective solutions promptly. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities in adherence to Organization's policies. Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response, ensuring Electrical/Mechanical systems Adhere to strict infection control measures and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3/C&G Level 3 qualification (Electrical Bias)
18th Edition
Commercial maintenance experience
Full UK driving licence
