Job Description

Full Stack Java Developer

Are you passionate about developing cutting-edge software solutions? We're seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer on behalf of our financial markets client. You'll play a key role in crafting new software and refining existing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions utilising Java and associated technologies.
  • Enhance and maintain relational database systems, with proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  • Utilise core Java, Spring framework, and ETL tools such as AWS Glue or Microsoft SSIS for seamless data integration and transformation.
  • Leverage your strong background in financial markets and data to optimise software performance and functionality.
  • Drive automation initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Experience with AWS is beneficial, particularly in deploying and managing cloud-based applications.
  • Contribute to API development, ensuring robust and scalable interfaces.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Java Developer, with a focus on software development and database management.
  • Proficiency in relational database systems like PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  • Solid understanding of core Java, Spring framework, and ETL tools (AWS Glue or Microsoft SSIS).
  • Strong background in financial markets and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with automation techniques and AWS services is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
