About Ultracell:

Ultracell is a globally recognised battery manufacturer established in 1999, headquartered in the United Kingdom. We export to over 95 countries and specialize in a wide range of battery technologies, including lithium, lead-acid, OpzS, OpzV, lead carbon, and gel batteries.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate for our Chief Technical Officer position, with a strong background in the lithium battery industry and/or the renewables sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our lithium battery and solar product lines. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and innovation of a leading global battery manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of Ultracell’s lithium battery and solar product lines.
  • Provide technical expertise to address queries and develop solutions for our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and improvements.
  • Help to train client-facing staff on technological aspects to enhance their ability to assist and sell products.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to ensure Ultracell remains at the forefront of battery technology.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve product performance and efficiency.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and help to provide technical support.

Qualifications and Experience:

\t•\tExtensive experience in the lithium battery industry.

\t•\tProven track record of leading technical teams and managing product development.

\t•\tStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions.

\t•\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.

\t•\tAbility to work collaboratively with different teams and departments.

\t•\tA technical degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.

  • A high level of English
