Electronic Engineer

Do you have a degree in Electronic Engineering?

Do you have practical & workshop experience with a range of electronic measurement and signal generation equipment?

Our client designs and manufactures bespoke products, including installation and offers their customer high-quality products to meet their specific needs. With an expanding customer base internationally and a brand new fully equipped site with the latest technology enabling them to provide their customers with the highest level of service and quality and are looking for an Electronic Engineer to join their expanding team.

Working with physicists and other engineering colleagues on the design, development, documentation and practical build of original equipment, as well as the practical build of repeating products to meet customer expectation within tight timescales

* Working in team responsible for the experimental setup realisation and measurement of magnetic fields across a range of frequencies from DC (0 Hz) to VLF (3-30 kHz), for both research and technical support purposes

* Design, construction, and operation of compensation coil systems for nullifying magnetic fields, and systems for the degaussing of large magnetic shielding enclosures

* Working within the team on product development with low noise electronics (Amplifiers, DAQ)

* Continued product design development on existing electronic equipment

* Collaborating with universities and external partners in the development of coil technology and other relevant electronics for diverse commercial and research applications

* Helping to shape the development of an expanding Electronics department

* Degree educated in electronic engineering

* Practical & workshop experience with a range of electronic measurement and signal generation equipment

* Good understanding of electronic component operation

* Excellent computer skills & data presentation

* Understanding of project driven processes

* Excellent understanding for the generation and testing of DC & AC magnetic fields

* An awareness of EMI shielding techniques and a familiarity with EMI testing standards, i.e.: MIL-STD or IEEE

* Excellent understanding of computer aided design techniques

* An ability to support off-site work with potential for occasional UK and overseas travel
