Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join the SEN unit within our mainstream school located in DE21. This is a full-time position starting in October 2024, offering a permanent contract to the successful candidate.

Provide dedicated support to pupils with SEN, both in individual and group settings, to facilitate their learning and development.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils within the SEN unit.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel valued, supported, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and other professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies effectively.Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably within a school setting.
A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with pupils.
A proactive attitude and willingness to support pupils' holistic development, including their social, emotional, and academic progress.This is a full-time position, offering a permanent contract starting in October 2024.
