Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and resourceful individual to join us as a Creative Support Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to harness your creativity to develop and implement unique and effective interventions that address the diverse needs of our clients, helping them to overcome barriers and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative support plans tailored to the individual needs and goals of clients
  • Utilize arts-based activities, creative expression, and other innovative approaches to engage and motivate clients
  • Collaborate with clients, their families, and other professionals to identify strengths, interests, and aspirations
  • Provide one-on-one support and encouragement to clients as they work towards their goals
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adapt approaches as needed to ensure positive outcomes

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a support role, preferably working with individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, or other complex needs
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion, empathy, and a person-centered approach
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of clients

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
