Position Title: Calibration EngineerDuration: PermanentLocation: CoventryAn exciting opportunity is available to work with one of the world's leading mobility technology companies for development, simulation and testing in the automotive industry.The role involves planning, preparation and supervision of related vehicle tests, assessment and documentation of test results and delivery of calibrations.Planning and execution of engine or vehicle development programCalibration dataset development in-line with guidelines for the relevant attributesAnalysis of results and preparation of recommendationsDataset validation for all ambient conditions both in facility and in territory, including final reporting and documentationLiaison and reporting to various functions within the organisationYOUR PROFILE:Essential:BEng in Mechanical/Automotive or related engineering disciplineExperience in diesel emissions testing and data analysisGood knowledge of diesel combustion engine fundamentalsGood knowledge of diesel exhaust after-treatment hardwareGood knowledge of diesel EMS and related tools and softwareExcellent inter-personal and communication skillsProven project management skillsCapable of working independently as well as part of large and small teams including leading teamsPreferable:Masters or PhD in specific subject area preferredGood knowledge of diesel ICE OBDGood knowledge of SCR aftertreatment systemsKnowledge of data analysis tools such as the Clients' Concerto or equivalentKnowledge of statistical analysis methods and toolsWorking knowledge and experience of MatLab
