TEXO Recruitment - Offshore Survey Technician

TEXO Recruitment is representing a leading provider of equipment rental solutions, advanced underwater technologies, and support services. Our client is seeking an Offshore Survey Technician to join their Asset Integrity team in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.

The successful candidate will:

  1. Test, service, maintain, and repair subsea, survey, and hydrographic equipment.
  2. Ensure proper preparation, testing, labeling, storage, calibration, and packaging of equipment.
  3. Interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
  4. Maintain work orders, customer records, and perform electrical safety tests.
  5. Document any missing or damaged equipment.
  6. Adhere to stock control systems and report any issues.
  7. Ensure calibration of test equipment and complete necessary records.
  8. Complete export details and customer records.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND/Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in repairing, maintaining, and testing electronic equipment, preferably in a subsea environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of subsea equipment and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
