The Medical Division at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust are looking for experienced registered nurses who have a passion for the care of the older person.
Due to a recent ward reconfiguration we have an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed nursing team on Ward B5. Ward B5 is a medical ward providing care to all ages but particularly older people.
We are an innovative, supportive, hardworking, friendly team providing high standards of quality care. We are holding a recruitment event on 24th April 12-4pm and 1st May 9-2pm, we will offer interviews at the event as well as an opportunity to visit the unit and meet the mangers and staff. Please note = On the day please bring your passport, driving licence, copy of national insurance number, proof of address document/s i.e. bank statement, mortgage statement or council tax statement and any nursing qualification certificates.
To provide high quality, safe patient care by assessment of patient need and the development, implementation and evaluation of appropriate care programmes. Practice in accordance with the professional, ethical and legal framework for nursing. Discuss and agree short, medium or long term goals, prioritise care and develop plans with the patient, family carer and health care team. Support patients/carers encouraging them to promote their own health and wellbeing and to express their interests and concerns. Provide support and care for the patient and his/her family respecting their need for privacy and dignity.

Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Current level one NMC registration
Evidence of continuing professional development
Add NMC Pin registration

Demonstrates knowledge of policies, practices and procedures e.g. NHS national policies, standards, requirements and directions that relate to patient care
