A fast-improving primary school in Coley Park, Reading, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their permanent staff list from September or sooner. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where young learners can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and education to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
* Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring each child’s development is documented and communicated effectively.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
* Collaborate with parents, carers, and other staff members to support children's learning and development.
* Adhere to school policies and procedures, maintaining a high standard of practice.

Requirements:
*A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above).
*Proven experience working with children in the EYFS.
*Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable:
*Previous experience in a primary school setting.
*First Aid certification.
*Additional qualifications or training related to early childhood education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
