This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator to guide students through their final primary school year, preparing them for their transition to secondary school. Year 6 Class Teacher - About the Role: As a Year 6 Class Teacher, you will have the rewarding responsibility of teaching and supporting a class of eager learners during a pivotal time in their educational journey. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and challenging lessons.
  • Provide targeted support to help pupils excel in their SATs and prepare them for secondary school.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback.
  • Attend and contribute to parent meetings, ensuring strong home-school partnerships.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.
  • Have a proven track record of raising attainment and delivering excellent teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Be passionate about education and committed to helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire pupils.
  • Be confident in preparing students for SATs and providing intervention when needed.
