The Role We are seeking an Audit Senior (ACA or ACCA qualified, with around 1 year post-qualification experience) to join our audit and accounts team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, taking ownership of assignments from planning to completion while working closely with partners and managers. Key Responsibilities Lead small audit assignments from planning through to completion, including fieldwork and reporting. Supervise and review work of junior team members on audit and accounts jobs. Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies under FRS 102 and FRS 105. Liaise directly with clients, ensuring strong communication and building lasting relationships. Identify audit and accounting issues, propose solutions, and provide technical support where required. Prepare or assist with corporation tax computations (desirable but not essential). Ensure work is completed within agreed deadlines and in accordance with professional standards. About You ACA or ACCA qualified, with approximately 1 year of post-qualification experience in a UK practice. Strong audit experience on small to medium-sized audits, ideally within owner-managed business environments. Competent in accounts preparation and able to review the work of juniors. Knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102/105) and audit standards. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Proficient with accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, CCH, IRIS, or similar) and Microsoft Office. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a desire to progress within a growing firm.
