Job Description:

Business Wales provides a first class business support service to Welsh SMEs on behalf of the Welsh Government, funded by the European Regional Development Fund. From January 2016 this service has been delivered by Growth Partnership Wales (GPW), a partnership of Business in Focus, Antur Cymru and Serco ESE.

[ads1] Job Responsibilities:
  • Support engagement and re-engagement activities that includes contacting clients by telephone and email pre and post workshops
  • Work across the Business Wales and Superfast Business Wales enquiry team to ensure effective integration and events delivery, supporting the regional operational delivery plans;
  • Assist the design and development of the events including locations, format, event size, subject matter, target audience and marketing methods to promote;
  • Ensure that appropriate mandatory branding requirements are adhered and co-ordinated with external stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Superfast Business Wales marketing and delivery teams to ensure event numbers are sufficient to achieve contractual outputs;
  • Gathering and collating event feedback, monitoring of customer satisfaction and upkeep of internal systems and processes to support marketing and contract activity;
Job Requirements:
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to work out of normal office hours when necessary
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to forward plan and manage multiple tasks and deadlines is essential
  • Experience of using content management systems, event management software and client tracker software would be an advantage
  • An understanding of commercial technology and or digital marketing would prove beneficial
  • Experience of planning and delivering webinars / workshops and events to a high standard
  • Computer literate with proven skills in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels (written and verbal) both internally and externally
