As a Defence Consultant, you will play a critical role in advising and supporting defence organisations in designing, implementing, and optimizing their CIS solutions. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing military capabilities, improving situational awareness, and ensuring effective decision-making across various defence operations.

System Analysis and Design:
Collaborate with defence clients to assess existing CIS systems, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
Evaluate hardware, software, and network components for integration into CIS systems.
Assist in selecting appropriate communication protocols, encryption methods, and data exchange formats.
Project Management
Lead or participate in CIS system implementation projects.
Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
Security and Cyber Defence
Assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with CIS systems.
Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
Training and Documentation
Develop training materials and conduct workshops for military personnel on CIS system usage.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements.

Deep technical understanding of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I), Command and Control (C2), and Battle Management Systems (BMS), including BOWMAN, ComBat, FC Bisa, GBSD Bisa, and simulated and mobile training platforms.
Demonstrable expertise in Programme and Project management.
Expertise in providing insightful advice, delivering clear and concise briefings, and presenting effectively to senior Industry and Ministry of Defence (MOD) personnel.
Extensive project and programme experience, excelling in scoping and delivering outcomes.
Commitment to coaching and mentoring, fostering the professional development of team members and peers.

Experience in defence or military environments, preferably with exposure to CIS systems.
Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.), Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science would be an advantage but not mandatory.
