Role Purpose

To ensure the quality and accessibility of all IT owned business systems data, using best practices and tools to collect, cleanse analyse and measure data quality and develop action plans to ensure data reliability, completeness and consistency whilst ensuring the highest levels of security and data protection.

To deliver and manage access to live data through front-end platforms to ensure people have the correct data to manage day-to-day operational tasks.

The Role

  • Manage the collection, quality assessment, storage and availability of all relevant system data for use within the business for historical reporting
  • Ensure business systems are available for data input, and ensuring that the data is correctly captured within the systems
  • Coordinate routine and ad-hoc data management tasks in line with our current data policies
  • Manage and deliver ad-hoc reporting for certain requests
  • Own the management of basic data accessibility, through views, reports and dashboards within the live systems
  • Act as part of the team to manage access to key systems as part of our Joiners, Changers and Leavers processes
  • Act as coverage for colleagues during absences in the coordination of professional and timely responses to IT issues and requests acting as 1st tier support for front of house platforms by using initiative to provide business solutions, ensuring effective communication of status and progress to all customers in line with agreed SLA’s
  • Carry out necessary admin and tasks to ensure continued reliable operation of all IT systems
  • Assist in developing procedures for continuous improvement of processes and ensure all processes are documented and accessible
  • Provide and continually review documentation to aid internal users in understanding the technologies that they will need to employ to fulfil their roles
  • Ensure the agreed and communicated service standards are adhered to
  • Ensure adherence to all policies and processes defined within the IT Team and the wider business
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests from the IT Management Team
