As a Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner, you will play a crucial role in crafting and assembling wooden components to create custom furniture and joinery items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking, excellent craftsmanship skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand project requirements. Select and prepare wood materials for construction, including cutting, shaping, and finishing. Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently. Assemble wooden components to construct high-quality furniture and joinery items. Ensure precision and accuracy in all measurements and cuts. Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, or similar role in a woodworking environment. Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery, such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently.
