Additional education or training in counseling, social work, or child development is a plus. Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school, camp, childcare, or similar setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents/guardians. Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Understanding of child behavior and developmental stages. Ability to enforce rules and guidelines while maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere. First aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
