The Opportunity

As Digital Marketing Executive at Defaqto, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of our digital marketing strategies to increase our online presence, optimize our website to better serve our audiences and meet our business objectives.

The Role

  1. Supporting the creation and execution of a comprehensive digital marketing plan in alignment with business objectives.
  2. Planning and delivering digital campaigns across various channels including social media, website and email.
  3. Optimising our website to support SEO goals and deliver the content strategy, aligning with brand messaging.
  4. Implementing and refining plans to improve website performance and increase conversion rates.
  5. Monitoring, analysing and reporting on digital campaign performance using analytics tools to guide future marketing strategies.
  6. Maximising existing and new contact data sources, creating nurture journeys for all stages of the marketing funnel, as well as management of contact preferences.
  7. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
  8. Regularly reviewing and optimising digital marketing strategies, incorporating feedback and new technologies as appropriate.

Our Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of SEO and general digital marketing principles and tools.
  • Proficient in using marketing automation and CMS tools, such as Marketing Dynamics and Concrete.
  • Proficient in using web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and online advertising platforms, such as LinkedIn.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed marketing recommendations.

As well as the experience and qualifications noted above, we are looking for:

  • Self-starters
  • People who are happy to take the initiative
  • People early in their career looking for an opportunity to shine and progress

Additional notes: this is a hybrid role where the team tend to be in the office 2 or 3 days each week (normally Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). There is plenty of free onsite parking and also within a short walk of Haddenham and Thame Parkway railway station, which runs from London Marylebone to Oxford.
