Position: Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher

Start Date: September 2024 - Long-term Contract until July 2025

Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Temporary Full-Time or Part-Time

Are you passionate about imparting language skills and fostering a love for global cultures? Supply Desk is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join a Secondary School on a long-term contract from September 2024 until July 2025, with the possibility of either full-time or part-time hours. The successful candidate will be teaching French to students in KS3 and KS4, and Spanish to students in KS3, within a supportive department. The school strongly encourages Early Career Teachers for MFL for French and Spanish to apply as well as overseas trained MFL teachers that have experience teaching French and Spanish.

Develop and deliver engaging MFL lessons that facilitate language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
Design and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students' proficiency in French and Spanish.
Assess students' language skills and progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop the curriculum and participate in extracurricular language activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field (required).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience teaching MFL to secondary school students.
Proficiency in French and Spanish.
