If so then there is an exciting opportunity to become the Project Manager for Preterm and Multiple Births services for the LMNS, working for Norfolk's largest maternity service.


We are a friendly, dynamic, and supportive team who will provide you with opportunities for continuing professional development and support you in the development of this role. You will be provided with a robust orientation programme to introduce you to our varied teams, developing clinical areas and large community service covering urban and rural areas within Norfolk.
Prematurity is the most significant cause of mortality in children under five and is associated with significant cause of morbidity in surviving infants (NICE 2015). The risk of preterm birth is higher in multiple pregnancies. The project manager will work closely with the lead midwives collaboratively across the LMNS. They will support the strategic vision across Norfolk and Waveney Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) to strengthen preterm birth and multiple pregnancy pathways for pregnant women who are at risk of preterm birth, or have a multiple pregnancy, with a key focus of addressing inequalities in all aspects of care.


The post holder will support the maternity teams by providing project management support and guidance to meet programme deliverable deadlines and KPIs.


The post holder will participate actively in local and regional networks, audit and reporting of the Preterm Prevention pathway. They will also work closely with the MNVP & parents' network to support the co-design of services to ensure that pathways are supportive and equitable for women and families accessing maternity care in Norfolk and Waveney.

Educated to degree level plus post graduate diploma or equivalent in a specific field, experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
Demonstrable PMO/Project Analyst or Coordinator experience and knowledge of project management
Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services

Clear communicator with excellent oral and writing, report working and presentation skills, capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiences and comfortably to large groups
