Head of Digitalisation & IT Portfolio / IT Portfolio Manager
Our client is a leading Motor Vehicle Manufacturing and Trasport Solution company and is looking to hire Head of Digitalisation & IT Portfolio. The role will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and delivery of the organisation's Digitalisation and IT projects / initiatives. This will include aligning projects with business objectives and implementing agile ways of working to enhance efficiency and flexibility.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a portfolio strategy aligned with organisational goals, ensuring the effective allocation of resources and prioritisation of projects/initiatives.
Maintain the ‘big picture’ and ‘source of truth’ of all activity / initiatives / projects and deliverables across the department, ensuring effective communication to stakeholders and leadership.
Drive the adoption and implementation of agile methodologies across IT projects.
Define, implement and manage ongoing processes for planning and prioritisation.
Work closely with business stakeholders and central change teams (business and IT) to understand priorities and ensure the alignment of departmental projects with overall business objectives.
Optimise resource utilisation by monitoring capacity and demand.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT projects within the portfolio.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance and impact of Digitalisation & IT deliverables.
Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing large technology/IT portfolios.
In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies and their application in project management.
Strong project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with project management tools and software.
