Principal Civil & Structural Engineer

The Civil and Structural Principal Engineer holds a pivotal role within our client's organisation, reporting directly to the Civil and Structural Discipline Manager. This position is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of engineering tasks for minor modifications and projects at the highest standards, in accordance with legal requirements and client specifications. Provide expert technical guidance across all stages of engineering projects, from specification to commissioning.
# Support Design Assurance for the discipline and offer ongoing technical assistance to projects and the team.
# Oversee the creation, review, and guidance of documentation related to design, installation, and operation of discipline-specific systems.
# Assume the role of 'Lead Engineer' for designated projects, ensuring adherence to scope of work and budget constraints.
# Make informed decisions involving technical matters, budget considerations, project schedules, and safety protocols with minimal supervision.
# Assess and maintain competency levels within the discipline, providing inputs to performance reviews and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
# Conduct discipline audits to ensure full compliance with quality procedures and standards.

Degree: Degree in civil engineering or related field
Experience: Senior / Principal Civil (Structural) Engineer with 5-10 years of experience
Petrochemicals, chemicals, oil and gas exp preferred etc
Project Phases: PRE FEED, FEED, EPC phases experience
Systems Experience: SHE systems, quality systems experience
Tools: Proficiency in project management tools and software
