Prototype Builds : 

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Receiving of materials and components used in the manufacture of medical devices
  • Transacting inventory within the warehouse, out to the production floor, or to individual requestors
  • Collecting components into kits of material for work orders or for Kanban bins on the production lines
  • Shipping of completed prototype assemblies out to sterilization or to other facilities within the company
  • Maintaining an accurate physical count of materials within both the stockroom and the production floor
  • Documenting all materials transactions, both on paper and electronically for traceability purposes
  • Recommend improvements to the processes, as needed

Inventory Control and Tracking :

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assist with receipt of raw materials and components, including unpacking, coordination of release testing and documentation.
  • Keeping warehouse and inventory locations clean and organized
  • Maintaining accurate inventory counts in the site MRP system

EH&S and Facilities Support :

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assist with chemical management and traceability through the VelocityEHS system
  • Supporting any DOT Hazardous Materials registration activities
  • Participate in safety and compliance inspections

Basic Requirements :

  • A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required. 
  • 1+ year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training. Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
  • General computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations. 
  • Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
  • Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
  • Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
  • Works under general to limited supervision.
  • Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production). 
  • Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
