Associate Scientist, Inflammation Biology
This is a research-based role, working to discover therapeutics for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. Individuals must bring technical skills, enthusiasm and provide a positive addition to company culture. Our dream candidate will have a degree in immunology or a related field, and experience of tissue culture and multi-colour flow cytometry.
Gather, analyse, and present scientific data from a variety of sources
Rigorous benchwork and data analysis. Select, follow, and adapt experimental protocols and generate laboratory SOPs
Contribute to maintenance of laboratory equipment including flow cytometers
Document research findings clearly in an electronic lab book
Contribute to discussions and share research findings with colleagues
Undergraduate degree or masters in immunology or a related discipline
Ability to analyse data and report results
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change, to move between projects easily and provide support and expertise where needed
Practical and analytical abilities with high attention-to-detail as demonstrated through publications, past experiences and/or academic achievements
