Working as the part of a small team reporting to the Principal Engineer – Body Electronics you will be required to support all critical program activities and engage with the architecture team and project management to define and agree the Vehicle Electronics for all McLaren vehicle platforms.
Working within the body electronics team, this role will have responsibility of delivering body electronics components and software from concept through to production.
Electronics architecture experience (harness, CAN/LIN protocols, ECUs, sensors) in an automotive environment.
Body/Chassis and Software/Hardware experience for automotive applications.
Proven track-record of system/component design and delivery within automotive/aerospace/engineering.
PC literate and at ease with MS Office products
Knowledge of Modern Vehicle operating systems (preferred Body Electronics)
Experience Test and integration of vehicle Electronics systems.
Experience gained in Automotive OEM or tier one supplier.
Lab car and mule development and POC. Promote cross functional team working and collaboration between departments to support delivery of challenging projects
Conscientious, with a proven eye for detail (quality, reliability and safety) with dedication to deliver best in class products
Excellent personal workload management and manpower planning.
Willing to travel and work flexible hours when required
Passion for the automotive industry and technology would be advantageous
