Supplier Quality Manager A growing manufacturer with a very exciting product range and large order book is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager east of Leeds. This is a great chance for a Supplier Quality Manager to develop key suppliers and coach and mentor a dedicated Supplier Quality Team.

Responsibilities as a Supplier Quality Manager: Lead and coach a Supplier Quality team Develop and implement supplier quality management processes and procedures. Establish supplier quality performance metrics and ensure adherence to standards. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate capability and compliance. Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to qualify new suppliers. Lead resolution of supplier quality issues through effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Monitor supplier performance and drive improvement initiatives to meet quality targets. Provide guidance and support to suppliers in implementing quality improvement initiatives. Foster strong partnerships with suppliers to drive mutual understanding and collaboration. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Communicate supplier quality performance metrics to relevant stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality processes and systems. Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Essential Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Proven experience in supplier quality management roles. Strong understanding of quality management principles and practices. Experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers. Strong organizational and project management skills. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards. Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Leadership and team management skills.
