Health & Safety Advisor - Position Highlights

  1. Significant Impact: As a Health and Safety Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining safe operations across five key recycling yards, directly contributing to the well-being of employees.
  2. Professional Growth: This position offers the chance to lead in implementing and maintaining health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 standards, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
  3. Location: Cardiff, Wales (with site responsibilities across South Wales, Bristol, Rotherham, and Sunderland)
Key Responsibilities as the Health & Safety Advisor
  1. Provide authoritative advice on health and safety standards and systems.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to maintain a certified occupational health and safety management system.
  3. Lead risk assessments and safety audits, identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
  4. Design and deliver training programs to enhance safety awareness among employees.
Candidate Profile - Health & Safety Advisor
  • Holds a NEBOSH certificate and has proven experience within the manufacturing, recycling, construction, and plant sectors.
  • Willing to travel to Rotherham/Sunderland every 6-10 weeks and Bristol once or twice a month.
  • Demonstrates exceptional coaching skills and a commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
