Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with flexibility for 2 early shifts per week for outreach
We are looking for a dynamic individual to work with people across Erewash, Amber Valley and South Derbyshire, who are affected by homelessness. You will be supporting people into appropriate housing and providing follow-on support to help them to sustain their tenancy, promote independence and overcome barriers that may have been the triggers to their homelessness.
You will act as a keyworker, encouraging positive and healthy lifestyles and help peopleaccess services that support needs such as drug or alcohol issues and mental health. The successful candidate will be provided with full training but you must be flexible, friendly, proactive, approachable and non-judgemental with a desire to help and change someones life. You will be required to carry out weekly early outreach shifts per week with the remaining shifts being 9am to 5pm, flexibility is required as the Outreach shifts will be dependent on the need in the geographical area at the time.
