An opportunity has arisen in a dynamic and innovative company that is dedicated to building a zero-carbon world. As part of the mission, a Software Engineering Manager is needed to join the team and oversee a talented group of individuals.

Your primary responsibility will be to guide the architectural direction of the platform, and although the role in title is as a Manager and involves management duties, you will remain hands-on as you build out the team. In addition, you will collaborate with Heads of Engineering and other Engineering Managers to ensure the high quality delivery throughout the end-to-end engineering experience.

With regards to technology, this is a hybrid cloud environment utilising both AWS and GCP, everything in Terraformed and there are large Kubernetes clusters running. Furthermore, the organisation extensively uses Kafka which would be a bonus.

This fully remote role is based in the UK, and you will have access to a dedicated personal learning budget to help you develop your skills. You will also receive a range of benefits, including bonuses, private medical insurance and a pension of 9%.
