We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Full Time Recruitment Consultant for a Recruitment consultancy based in Sutton Coldfield. If you are passionate about making a difference in people's careers and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you. This is a hybrid role working 2 days a week in the office.

What will you be doing as a Recruitment Consultant?

  • Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Identify and engage with top-tier candidates through various channels. Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to understand their skills, experience, and career aspirations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and company culture. Provide strategic recruitment solutions to meet their staffing requirements.
  • Job Advertisements and Networking: Create compelling job advertisements and leverage your network to attract high-caliber candidates. Attend industry events and networking functions to stay abreast of market trends.
  • Interview Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate interviews between candidates and clients. Provide feedback and guidance to both parties throughout the recruitment process.
  • Negotiation and Offer Management: Play a key role in negotiating offers, ensuring a win-win situation for both candidates and clients. Manage the offer process from start to finish, including contract negotiation.

What are we looking for in our Recruitment Consultant?

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a successful track record of placing candidates in various industries.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. You should be able to articulate your thoughts clearly and build rapport with both candidates and clients.
  • Results-Driven: A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets. Your passion for success should be evident in your track record.
  • Adaptability: The recruitment landscape is dynamic, and we value individuals who can adapt to changing circumstances. Flexibility and a proactive approach are crucial.
  • Team Player: While you will have autonomy in your role, collaboration is key to our success. A team player who can contribute positively to the team culture is highly valued.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Knowledge of the local Birmingham job market is an advantage.
