Venture Search has partnered with a prop trading firm that is currently seeking an experienced Oil Derivatives Trader to join their dynamic team in Dubai (possibility to work in London). This is a great opportunity to play a key role in a high-performing team, with highly ambitious proprietary trading firm with big growth plans.

The ideal candidate will have worked in the oil and energy sector for at least five years and has discretionary or semi-systematic trading experience that consistently generate PnL.

Minimum 5 year’s experience with a proven track record across oil derivatives
Be able to autonomously run a proven discretionary or systematic trading strategies
Understanding commodity markets, in particular oil and energy by staying up to date with current market trends, news etc.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve trading strategies and performance.
If you’re running semi-systematic strategies, MUST have strong knowledge of computer programming languages such as Python & C++.
Master's or PhD from a leading University.
