UK Bus FP&A is at the heart of providing excellent financial process that help turn information into insight that influences the business toward impactful outcomes. Main responsibilities Design and implement the short-term 13-week rolling liquidity forecast across all Arriva UK Bus legal entities, including creating and reviewing a cash forecasting model. Prepare the monthly liquidity management of UK Bus, to help steer management of banking facilties and dividend payments. Prepare quarterly cashflow forecasts required for quarterly Executive reviews. Review, redesign and implement forecast models used for impairment & going concern used for audit purposes. Support the business with any further cashflow/liquidity reporting requirements requested by the new shareholder. This role requires: ACA / ACCA / CIMA-qualified and experience of financial & performance management reporting; large organisation experience highly advantageous. Previous experience working in transportation sector advantageous but not essential. A high degree of collaboration and challenge with internal stakeholders. Understanding of the drivers of business performance and ability to translate into opportunities. Understanding of planning techniques used in short, medium, and long-term forecast horizons. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Experience with Adaptive Insights software advantageous Excellent analytical / organisational skills and high attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A high degree of work ethic, commitment to personal development, commercial acumen, and professional transparency.
