Reporting to the Head of Change in the IT department, you will be responsible for extracting and documenting requirements and process maps for business processes and supporting a range of IT and Change projects. The Business Analyst will provide a connection between business functions, technical community and suppliers enabling application and solution development. You will define and document internal and external user interfaces, business processes, systems and data requirements for projects and processes leading to the successful delivery of a solution to the business.
Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases. Experience of Business Analysis, System Engineering and Modelling Techniques.
• Have a proven understanding of the project and software development lifecycles
• Experience providing project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, etc.)
• Demonstrable ability to analyse and synthesise business requirements and create process maps to an agreed format
• Strong Stakeholder management – dealing with all levels of stakeholders including third party suppliers and Company Directors
