To generate the maximum volume of profitable sales through the achievement of sales targets and by making new and existing customers aware of the company’s product range and presence.
Maintain a weekly diary of appointments/activities within the Salesforce CRM system;
Follow projects through from placement to completion of order;
Monitor customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited;
Provide an after sales service, keeping in contact with the Specifier and Customer Support to ensure that if any problems arise they are dealt with speedily. Maintain an awareness of company products and of relevant sales techniques to ensure that the sales role is carried out as effectively as possible;
Submit a report on area activity, performance and Market Intelligence to the Head of International each month;
Ensure your area customer database is accurate and regularly reviewed;
Liaise with your Manager regarding pricing issues or conditions of sale;
Maintain the Opportunity Register on the CRM system ensuring all products are entered. Update all project information weekly and review with your Manager as directed;
You are required to retain all your business and fuel receipts to submit monthly to Concur – an online expense portal – where they will be approved by your manager (or director);
Ensure that the Company’s car policy is followed.
You must have experience working with local authorities;
You must have experience of the Electrical (ideally Lighting) industry;
You must have experience working with electrical/lighting consultants & engineers
Car allowance
~20% bonus
