Cherrybrook Nursery is Ofsted rated Good and has an activity room as well as soft play on site. Each room has access to their own balconies and the babies have a dedicated garden for them to explore. We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our growing team and provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development. This role is working 40 hours per week, various shifts patterns between the opening and closing times of the nursery 7:15am-18:30pm. This nursery is open all year round and is not a term time only role. You will need to have a full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification. Salary £24,960 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. Please note we are able to take staff part time however you will need to be able to work full days, all year round as this is not a term time only nursery. As Nursery Practitioner, you will: Ensure that each child’s individual needs are met and a high standard of professional care and education is delivered in a caring, safe and secure environment in which all children can play, learn and develop Observe, assess and plan an interesting, stimulating and challenging range of early years activities which supports each child’s individual learning and development needs and abilities Engage as a professional member of the team, exhibiting a flexible attitude and willingness to develop new skills Ensure that company policies and procedures are read, applied, reviewed regularly and adhered to by all Follow risk assessments diligently and report all health and safety matters to management Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development *Duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive or restrictive, changes and other duties relevant to this post may be added.
