Security Engineer
Our client is a leading provider of Security solutions, specialising in CCTV, Access control, and Intruder alarms. With a focus on Residential, Commercial, and Education settings, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality installations and exceptional service to their clients. They are currently seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join their team and contribute to their continued success.
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems, Access control systems, and Intruder alarms. The role will involve working on projects in various settings, including residential properties, commercial buildings, and educational institutions. Some nights away from home may be required each month for large installation projects. Travel time is compensated, and you will receive payment from door to door.
Install, configure, and commission CCTV systems, access control systems, and intruder alarms according to project specifications and industry standards.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform repairs as needed to ensure the continued functionality and reliability of security systems.
Collaborate with project managers, other engineers, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.
Provide training and support to end-users on the operation and maintenance of security systems.
Complete accurate documentation, including installation reports, service records, and client communications.
Previous experience as a Security Engineer, with a focus on installing and maintaining CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of security system components, wiring, and installation techniques.
Willingness to travel and work nights away from home as required for project installations.
