Trainee Patent Attorney / Technical Assistant – Communications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Physics.
We are keen to hear from candidates with a background in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or Physics. A specific interest held in mobile telecoms, communication and IT is desirable.
You may be a recent graduate or post-graduate, a trainee attorney already working in private practice or you may be in industry; Irrespective of your current experience, we will provide you all the necessary training to enable you to qualify as a UK  Chartered Patent Attorney and  European Patent Attorney . Working within Maucher Jenkins’ industry leading patents team at our London or Surrey (Farnham) office, our flexible trainee programme will provide you with all the necessary technical skills, experience and support required to enable you to succeed in your new role.
You will work with interesting and experienced Partners and colleagues – learning from the best – providing the highest quality of service to our impressive client base.
As Maucher Jenkins is a global firm, we are also keen to hear from candidates with Chinese or German language skills, however this is not essential.
Due to the high academic requirements for this opportunity, only graduates with a minimum 2:1 STEM degree with honours will be considered.
