About the role
This is an exciting time for property, planning, and regeneration lawyers at Haringey Council. We are committed to advancing high-profile regeneration projects and expanding our housing initiatives across the Borough. As a key member of our experienced team, you will provide expert legal guidance on a diverse range of property, regeneration, and planning matters.
In this role, you will work closely with the Principal Lawyer, overseeing and managing a team of lawyers within the Property, Planning, and Regeneration team. Your responsibilities will include:
# Handling a varied caseload
# Providing legal comments on committee reports
# Attending committees
# Liaising with clients and members

About you
We are seeking a talented and dynamic solicitor, barrister, or CILEX to step into the role of Deputy Principal Lawyer for the Property, Planning and Regeneration team. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in any of the following disciplines: property, planning, or regeneration in the UK.
In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate closely with experienced specialists in property, planning and regeneration, working alongside fast-paced and forward-thinking client teams. You’ll navigate a diverse array of complex legal matters, making meaningful contributions to our dynamic environment.
