The company offers hybrid-working (2 days from home a week) as well as flexible start and finish times, to make office commuting more manageable and to help fit around your personal life. Their plush and recently-refurbished offices are based in Fife, within commutable distance of Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the chance to work on a variety of diverse design and manufacturing projects. You will be responsible for designing appropriate engineering solutions/packages, 3D CAD modelling, using traditional engineering analysis techniques & calculations, and ensuring that each project is completed to the highest possible standards.

Involvement in design activity across a range of O&G sector projects, from concept through to manufacturing.
Present designs to engineering staff during internal design reviews
Use traditional engineering analysis techniques and calculations to ensure that designs are safe and effective.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
~ At least 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
~ Experience in Finite Element Analysis and hand calculations
~3D CAD Modelling exposure
