Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the HR function for a leading manufacturing organization in Scotland. This executive role will shape and execute human capital strategies, drive organizational transformation, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives to support growth and operational efficiency.
- Oversee talent acquisition, management, and retention programs to build a high-performing workforce.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, organizational culture, and workplace satisfaction.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs across all levels of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with UK labor laws, industry regulations, and internal policies.
- Drive leadership development and succession planning to future-proof the organization’s talent pipeline.
- Manage compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain top talent while aligning with market trends.
- Provide strategic guidance to the executive leadership team on workforce planning and organizational design.
- Lead HR digital transformation initiatives, optimizing HRIS systems and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth and adaptability.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (CIPD Level 7 or equivalent preferred).
- Proven experience as an HR executive, with a minimum of 10-15 years in progressive HR leadership roles, ideally in manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
- Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and HR transformation in complex, dynamic environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset and results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with HR technology, workforce analytics, and digital tools.
