The Senior Document Controller will play a critical role in facilitating communication between project stakeholders and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project documentation. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement document control procedures in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. Establish and maintain a central document repository for all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence. Coordinate document workflows and review processes to ensure timely approval and distribution of documents. Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards. Monitor document revisions and maintain accurate version control to prevent errors and inconsistencies. Provide training and support to project team members on document control processes and systems. Generate regular reports on document status, distribution, and other key metrics to project management and stakeholders. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and document exchange.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a Document Controller in the water or construction industry Strong understanding of document control principles, processes, and best practices. Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is desirable.
