We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Development Engineer to join our Engineering team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative design solutions for new concepts & customisation of existing product.

Developing ideas from concept through to manufacture by creating 3D CAD models (using Solid Edge 3D software).
Ensuring newly developed products comply with customer specifications, regulatory standards and performance levels specified for safety, function and reliability.
Working with the wider production team to investigate and address any design concerns and assist in the resolution of problems quickly and effectively.
Aiding production in the development of jigs/fixtures to support the manufacture of newly designed products.
Supporting sales through the creation of sales drawings, preliminary technical specifications, site visits and technical advice on the products/process development.
30PM finish on a Friday Enhanced holidays + additional leave for length of service Bonus twice a year Company sick pay Life assurance Career development opportunities Annual social events and wellbeing initiatives Essential Criteria 5+ years experience working as a design or product development engineer within a relevant sector, including but not limited to the data centre industry, construction, transport or material handling sectors.
Bachelors or Masters degree (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a related field.
High degree of proficiency with 3D modelling software and technical drawing for sheet metal design, Solid Edge + Tekla structures preferred.
Ability to progress multiple projects concurrently and manage stakeholders.
UK driving license Desirable Experience of project management.
Experience with new product introduction/product development.
