About The Role

Due to the continued success and expansion of Morrison Telecom Services we have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Delivery Manager to join our team. Reporting into the Contracts Manager.You will be working on our Fibre Build 26 workstream and your role will be to ensure we get the best out of our Supply Chain Build Supplier on a day-to-day basis, whilst driving theoverall operational delivery of the Supply Chain Cabling/Splicing elements ensuring safety, quality and training is as at the forefront of what we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and coaching Supply Chain.
  • Ensure Supply Chain are using MTS Apps correctly and can show competency is using these apps such as Risk Assessments / Progress Photos / Audits to ensure all checks are being undertaken.
  • Enforcing Safety and weekly checks amongst Supply Chain.
  • Working alongside the Contracts Manager ensuring we are delivering weekly glides commitments.
  • Attending weekly Supply Chain meetings to ensure we are delivering together and aligned to client requirements.
  • Lead by example on Health and Safety ensuring teams are following safe practices of work.
  • Lead by example on Quality ensuring teams are following quality standards keeping defects to a minimum.
  • Dealing with customer complaints and ensuring it is dealt with and closed with immediate effect.
  • Regular spot checks / audits on Supply Chain ensure works are being carried out safely to Morrison Telecom's Health and Safety guidelines. Ensure this is being followed daily and keep forcing the agenda to drive continuity and competency.
  • Ensure all teams are fully accredited and competent for the tasks they are carrying out.
  • Assisting meet the business units KPIs, identifying area for improvements to the Contracts Manager against the key measures to continually improve performance.
  • Working with the client and local OR teams to achieve successful delivery and any issues to help resolve in a timely manner that maintains continuity throughout the build.
  • Sponsor and support new ways of working which would improve delivery and service then support any activities being undertaken to implement change.

  • Telecoms Experience
  • MT003 - Training can be provided for any further modules.
  • Good Microsoft Excel & Office experience required.
  • Ability to understand and implement agreed plans which support the needs of the business and support operational effectiveness.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with Stakeholders both within the client spectrum and suppliers.
  • Ability to follow and a process driven environment.
