To work as part of a small production team in the production of Spatone products.
As acting team leader, assume responsibility for the management of the production team, ensuring the team continues to perform efficiently in the absence of the Team Leader. Work according to all necessary Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Hygiene and Health & Safety (H&S) requirements to ensure high quality products are produced in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
To accurately complete all required documentation as specified in the relevant SOPs and undertake routine preventative checks and cleaning of production equipment, utensils, and premises to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
Delegate production and cleaning activities to team members
Contract Details:
~ Saturday & Sunday 6am 6pm (Day) or 6pm - 6am (Nights), paid breaks included.
~6 Month Fixed Term Contract 6th July 2024 to 5th January 2024
~ Day Shift - £15.Night Shift - £20.In the absence of Team Leader, manage the production team and delegate activities when and where required, and continue to support the Team Leader as a leader within the group at all other times
Manage production team, to maintain production outputs, ensuring targets and quality standards are met, and all processes used are compliant, as per the SOPs
Be responsible for absence and sickness management within the team and ensure adequate staffing levels on the shift
Report and work with the site administrator, quality department and production manager when quality or H&S incidents occur to make sure these are covered off in an acceptable and timely manner.
Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
Liaise with site administrator and warehouse staff to manage and maintain stock levels required to deliver the production schedule efficiently
Work and help lead team in accordance with the relevant SOP and Batch Production documentation
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally to GMP standards
Demonstrate good leadership / people management skills
