We are currently recruiting for one of the UK’s Leading FMCG companies, for the role of a BI Developer. Join our client, a leading player in the pet health services and insurance industry, as they aim to secure the coveted position of the UK's #1 Pet Insurer.

Type – Contract (6 months)
Location – Borehamwood (Hybrid – 2 days per week)
Main Responsibilities as a BI Developer
Work on DWH ETL processes (SSIS and native T-SQL) and re-engineer to improve daily ETL run times to continue to meet business/partner SLAs.
Examine the end-to-end DWH ETL process (SSIS and native T-SQL) and recommend possible improvements.
Provide expertise regarding the migration of the current SQL Server 2022 DWH on-premises platform to a Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
Use experience to mentor existing developers in advanced SQL optimisation techniques plus Cloud migration.
Design and build new ETL processes relating to new business requirements using a combination of SSIS packages and native T-SQL stored procedures.

Previous experience as a BI Developer.
Experience with SSIS and T-SQL.
Cloud knowledge ideally with Microsoft Azure.
