Senior Security Engineer

This is an office (Basingstoke, UK) based position, within a team who is friendly, supportive, has a growth mindset and participate in a number of social activities to maintain work-life balance. In this position, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating the security of mobile applications, SDKs and IoT products. Evaluation tasks include review of design documents and source code, vulnerability analysis and penetration testing. The primary objective of the testing and evaluation is to analyze the security specific strength and weaknesses of these systems.

~ Vulnerability analysis and Penetration Testing of payment applications and SDKs
~ Assessment techniques for validating code against security requirements
~ Skills writing technical reports.
~ Technical knowledge by attending training workshops, reading professional publications, participating in technical working groups and cross-departmental task forces.
~ 2-3 years of experience in Application Security, Vulnerability Analysis and Penetration Testing
~ Bachelor or Masters) in Computer Science or similar.
~ Android (AOSP), iOS and their architectures e.g., ARM assembly (32 and 63 bits)
~ Good Understanding of coding languages used in Mobile platform, such as Java, Swift, Obj-C, Kotlin, C/C++
~ Good understanding of common networking and communication protocols such as TCP/IP, and
~ Familiarity with reverse engineering software and the use of static and dynamic analysis tools
