Job Description

In addition to being a dedicated and passionate Maths teacher, the ideal candidate for this position will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to primary/secondary school students following the national curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through various assessment methods and provide constructive feedback
  • Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to the diverse learning needs of students
  • Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance student learning experiences
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate curriculum and extracurricular activities
  • Monitor and manage student behaviour in the classroom to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Previous experience teaching Maths in a primary/secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for Maths
  • Ability to effectively utilize teaching resources and technology to enhance learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Enthusiasm and passion for teaching and motivating students
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with current educational practices
