Purpose of Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join our Education Team overseeing a School PFI contract in Derby. .

Job Description

This contract is across six schools within the area which we are delivering a TFM solution

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all supporting functions sustain operational management to maximise returns in terms of profit and service level.
  • Identify, manage and reduce all unnecessary costs and inefficient activities – ensure business risks are clearly identified and controlled.
  • Provide direction, focus and consistency across the contract
  • Working closely with the client
  • Managing performance of delivery teams
  • Reviewing project schedules and budgets
  • Ensures that robust on-site procedures are established and employed and undertakes daily checks.
  • Identify improvement, to overcome problems and mitigate risk.
  • Seeks opportunities to improve on provided information for commercial or practical benefit.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

  • Contract Management experience within Facilities Management (Essential)
  • Understanding of the delivery of TFM (Essential)
  • Staff Management
  • IOSH
