Role: SAP FICO Architect

Key Responsibilities :

  • Excellent hands-on functional configuration experience across SAP FICO - S/4 HANA and ECC
  • Must have design and configuration experience in SAP FICO and related sub modules, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Tax
  • Strong knowledge of SAP integration across modules and business process experience
  • Translating Functional Specifications into Application design documents, co-ordination with ABAP team, testing of new functionality or Enhancements, Prepare Test plans and Test scripts, Perform Unit tests and integration tests
  • Independently take up and participate in Requirement gathering, Document preparation, End-to-End Solution design, Functional Spec preparation, Realization and Deployment
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems
  • Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation
  • Ensure overall team deliverables adhere to quality standards and meet established timelines
  • Develop, review and maintain functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partners
  • Participate in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues
  • Knowledge and Experience of SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods
  • Strong understanding and experience of SAP testing tools and other SAP line of business products
  • Contribute for overall project management plan using SAP Activate methodology
  • Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and FIORI
  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal skills

Required Skills/Experience

  • Extensive full cycle ECC or S/4HANA implementation project experience.
  • Should be well versed with end to end project costing processes including Results Analysis (RA key) functionality with integration points with other modules like MM, SD etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project system to Asset Accounting (FI-AA) for Asset under Construction (C-WIP / AUC), if needed Asset accounting itself.
  • End to end knowledge in RICEF development i.e. requirement gathering, FS preparation, testing and business acceptance.
  • Experience in solution design, configuration, integration, gap analysis, cutover, go live, testing and support.
  • Able to identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
  • Experience working with Business and SAP cross functional team, leading other procurement functionals
